The Good
The course takes you through the process of creating a successful article marketing campaign from beginning to end, leaving nothing out. If you ever had a question about ‘what is my next step?’ after watching other courses, you won’t have to worry about that here. David’s series is excellent, takes you through his entire thought process, and includes over 15 hours of video in addition to the e-book. He has a laser targeted focus on doing one thing, and doing it well – which is teaching you exactly how to do article marketing. Instead of being an ‘I’ll teach you all the concepts about every possible type of affiliate marketing, but not give you any details about specific subjects’ (which a few other popular courses have done), David has created a fantastic course on teaching just one subject.
And, he delivers on that promise. I’ve been doing article marketing for a few years now, and even I picked up some good tips and practices from his course – ones that I’m already putting to good use.
There is also a members area/forum where people can post questions and answers about various topics related to article marketing and affiliate marketing in general. And yes, David is active on his own forums! From looking at some of the contributors, I definitely recognize some who are also active over at the Wealthy Affiliate forums (David is a member of WA also, and originally met Travis over there. Come to think of it, the 4DMMB and Wealthy Affiliate make a good combination together…)

What Could Be Improved
Honestly, there isn’t all that much I can think of. I will say his e-book is written more like a novel than your typical, rather dry manual that accompanies most programs. While it’s written like a story, the e-book does do a great job of explaining what he’s doing, as well as why, within the narration. I found the style refreshing, as many courses I’ve read have almost put me to sleep because they were boring and antiseptic. Whether you like that style or not depends on you.
Also, the course and videos don’t pretend to be anything other than what they are. This will not teach you how to use pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns (though David’s sections on keyword and niche research will definitely be useful there), designing a website (not necessary in order to do article marketing), product creation, or the like. It’s not a jack-of-all-trades; instead, it’s a Master of One – which is the process and systemization of Article Marketing.
Summary and Recommendation
Article marketing is where I got my start, and I suggest you begin there as well. It’s easier than you think, gives you a firm foundation in the concepts, and will have you making your first money online – without needing a website, your own product, or spending money to do so.
As this is one of the pillars of internet marketing, learning how to do this properly will help you in all other aspects of your online business. Getting a firm foundation in article marketing will help you to drive free traffic and generate sales for any product you are promoting – whether it’s yours or someone else’s, information-based or a physical product. In effect, you’re also learning to write great sales copy, and getting paid for it.
